Scam alert 10/26/09: 

Beware of a scam in which checks, credit applications and/or purchase orders claiming to be from Battery Technology, Inc. were sent out to numerous companies. 

Important: the sender of such fraudulent documents is NOT Battery Technology, Inc. Please ignore the checks, reject the application and/or order immediately. We have already informed the FBI and the local police department of such scam.   

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE A VICTIM?

Should you receive a letter and check in the mail that is similar to those described above, do not cash or deposit the check into your bank account. If you have already cashed or deposited this check, you should immediately contact your bank/branch and inform them that the check is counterfeit.

If you are a victim of this scam, you should contact your local police department for further instructions.
